Pricing: I base my pricing on how long I estimate a commission will take me to complete. On occasion, characters or ideas are considered more complex than the average commission, and in that case the price may increase due to it taking me longer than usual to complete. Depending on your desires for ref sheets or customs, it may be more or less than the listed price.Process: I always send at least 3 updates: Initial sketch, flats, and the final piece. A line art update may be requested as well. After the first sketch update is sent, I allow up to 2 *rounds of small edits (ex. hair style, piercings, anatomy tweaks, tail length) and/or 1 large edit (ex. posing, character design, background). Once flats are completed, I will allow 1 round of color edits (ex. marking changes, hue shifts). Beyond this, each batch of small edits will be charged a $5 fee, and large edits $10+.I do not allow free edits beyond these terms, so please do your best to mention all required aspects of your commission and take your time viewing updates to make sure you don't miss any mistakes that I will have to fix later.If you'd like extra time to view an update, let me know and I will pause working on it until your approval. The later the edit is mentioned, the longer it takes me to complete. These terms are more loosely applied to custom characters, as the extra upfront fee is meant to cover a bit of back and forth for edits.*_{a "round of small edits" would consist of 1-3 small changes, mentioned at one time. For example: requesting the addition of "2 piercings and a longer tail" after receiving my initial sketch would be considered one round of small edits. After I make the edit and send a second update, a request to "make the tail even longer and adjust the piercing location" would be considered the second round of small edits.}Payment: Payment is made through PayPal only, and received upfront. I offer payment plans for pieces over $100 if needed (half upfront, half after sketch is approved). Refunds are only available in the case that I cannot begin your commission within 3 months of receiving payment (due to personal circumstances such as injury). You have the right to cancel your commission if payment hasn't been completed. If you have made a partial payment on a payment plan and cannot complete the second half, you're welcome to keep my sketch, but are not allowed to complete my sketch on your own or by paying another commissioner, it must remain as a sketch.Delivery: I take commissions constantly, each sketch is completed ~14 days after payment is received, and completed less than a month after sketching. I will deliver the commission to you first on the app we're communicating on, then the high quality version by email if requested. Delivery times are estimates, if you’re curious about your commission status feel free to message me or check my trello.Ownership: Commissions are for personal use only, and will not be redistributed by commissioners by means of creating profit. Reselling designs or creating merchandise with my art with the intention of making profit will break these terms and conditions. You may use your commission personally however you please as long as you keep my watermark and credit me where applicable. Making personal merchandise of my work is highly encouraged, feel free to send photos!Etiquette: I work with multiple commissioners daily, and do commissions full-time. Please have respect for my time and effort, as time wasted can gouge into others' delivery times, and diminish the wage I expect to earn on a particular commission. I enjoy being friendly with commissioners and understand the explicit nature of some of my works, but making sexual remarks towards me makes me uncomfortable. I do consider commission discussions to be a professional setting, so please be appropriate when interacting with me.

Character design template

Below is a template I've created for those of you who'd like to create a custom character with me! The following template covers everything relevant to my design process. Feel free to fill out as little or as much of this template as you'd like! I've put underscores beneath fields I feel are most crucial. I've also left two filled out examples for my characters at the bottom if you're struggling with how to go about filling certain sections.
